This was great. Really likeable characters, good premise, nice pacing and the relationship building was thoroughly enjoyable to read. I’m with others in that I wasn’t ready for Freya and Leo’s story to end. One star off for lack of character descriptions (I hate the ‘safe’ let the reader build their own character mentality-I’m reading the author’s story, I want the author’s vision), the fact that Freya’s job title remains a mystery (her age too I think) and the villain aspect needed more development/could be improved.

I am VERY happy that this book is labelled as part one because the next instalment will definitely be a one click for me. I’m a Sophia Peony fan in the making and have since purchased ‘Love in the Spotlight’ and her other short story contributions. Hope they are as good. Looking forward to many more!

I would give this 4.5 stars. I think it needed an epilogue. I loved Leo and Freya and how they met.
Shy Freya Santos, saves a man’s life when she stumbles upon him as she tries to photograph a unique sunrise. In a strange turn of events, Leonardo Costa comes to Freya’s rescue. Their story has as many twists and turns as a mountainous hiking trail. When I began reading Sophia Peony’s Set The City On Fire, I didn’t want to put it down. I loved it.
Love this book it. Excellent author and fantastic story. Once you start reading it you won't stop. I love the characters chemistry and how you're pulled into the story.
This book dragged me in and was incredibly easy to read. I wanted to know what would happen! Freya and Leo were addicting. I haven't read many mafia romance stories, so this one felt unique and kept me on my toes!
I Loved this book!! I can not wait for the next one!! I was checking her website before I had finished this book, for it was the first of hers I had read! Glad I did!! It was an awesome read
Oh, Leo Costa, you did things to me! I mean, I would have gone to live with him too and pretended to be affianced to that gorgeous Mafia man. Good for you, Freya!

They had some serious heat between them but I also swooned for their cute moments. I'm a sucker for the cute from a big powerful, dangerous man.

Sophie's style was really enjoyable and I'm ready for book two, please!
I would have given this book 5 stars because the characters were great and the storyline was excellent, but the editing killed me. There were no spelling or punctuation problems, but I couldn't begin to count how many times the writing would go from past tense to present tense ( often in the middle of a sentence). Several places also had wrong word choices. I really enjoyed the author, but she needs a much better editor.
